Well-weathered indeed, Jude. But still colourful. 🙂

Sea air and damp take their toil on wood and metal down here!

  7. BeckyB says:

ooh very weathered . . . great in a photo but maybe not if it is your front door!!

    1. Heyjude says:

Not mine! A door to an interesting warehouse with lots of different crafts inside – you’d like it.

      1. BeckyB says:

Phew!! and I like the sound of this, near you?

        1. Heyjude says:

Porthleven so about 20 minutes drive. A nice little harbour town.

        2. BeckyB says:

wonderful 🙂 you did choose a great spot didn’t you

        3. Heyjude says:

We love it in West Penwith, seems so different to the rest of Cornwall, although quite remote from the rest of England and strictly speaking Porthleven is on the Lizard peninsula. That’s pretty remote too.

        4. BeckyB says:

Peninsulas are the best place to be!

        5. Dina says:

I have to take a closer look at West Penwith. Porthleven is fabulous.

        6. Heyjude says:

It is a lovely little village, what St Ives was probably like back in the day. Though of course St Ives has three fabulous beaches, the one at Porthleven is more exposed.

        7. Dina says:

The dramatic setting of Porthleven was just right when we visited. I returned with a winning image. 😊

        8. Heyjude says:

Great waves over the pier there.

  8. That’s a great photo – and a great shade of blue too.

  9. Glorious piece of peel.

  10. Sue says:

    Oooh, Blue decrepitude, Jude!!

    1. Heyjude says:

I thought this one would apeel [sic] to you Sue

      1. Sue says:

Teehee! Appeal or apeel it does!
