I have fond memories of trips to Hayle as a child. Miles of unbroken sand, hot summers, sandcastles, and sea.

Hasn’t changed much in that respect, but the town certainly has even in the few years we have been here.
In the late 50s, the town was hardly developed at all.
The industrial units were still around then though. Still some when we visited back in 2006, but slowly the north quay has been cleared. Several new housing estates too, but the main road through the town probably looks the same
Such a beautiful sky.
It was a beautiful day! Has been much colder since then though.
We loved playing on sand dunes as kids. We would trudge up and slide or tumble down.
