For once, it feels as if you could have been anywhere, not just Cornwall. I often think I could photograph trees all day, and wish there were more varieties around here. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
We have the privilege of living near some ancient trees, 160 years to be precise. It was an acorn from England and brought over by the missionaries. Okay, not as old as some in the UK. Luckily for us, many Victorians who ventured down to these parts were lovers of collecting plants.
Lovely trees, Jude!
They caught my eye on the way back to the car after visiting Trebah.
Well spotted!
Returning to the series? I know you love your trees, Jude 🙂 🙂 I’m a convert!
The tree series is on ELWF I think. And yes I love the shapes, especially in winter. Took some other photos of trees at Lanhydrock last week 😊

I love the high canopy on some of these and the structure of the bare limbs in winter. Got some rather nice ones at Lanhydrock the other day too.
Postcard perfect pictures
Well I posted a picture of our winter trees just now. A real contrast.
I shall pop over for a look:)
Thanks.
Oh, dear 😦
Winter trees are quite beautiful – I love how we can see their structure.
Me too!
Simply beautiful.
Thank you. I love the different shapes.
