In an effort to get out more we popped into Penzance at the end of December mainly to do some chores, like visit a bank (the nearest town to us now that actually still has banks) and a post office. It so happened to coincide with one of the most beautiful days we have seen in weeks. A full on blue-sky-sunshine day. After a delightful fishy lunch in a harbour-side pub I managed to capture some quirky photos in the dry dock in the late afternoon sun.
What I like about this one is the warmth of the sun that comes through in the image and the lovely rusty chain creating the shadow patterns.
Altogether a very satisfying day.
