After a week of relentless heavy rain, gales and showers it was a relief to awake to a lovely sunrise this morning. This golden hour was just after 8 am.

Beautiful. Our sunrise is around 6am, and though I’ve been awake for it; we crpertain,y haven’t had anything worth photographing, so I am going to vicariously enjoy yours. Thank you.
Sunrises on my blog are like hens’ teeth Su so make the most of it 😀
😂😂
Stunning Jude. We had one particularly beautiful sunrise this week, heralding another very hot day with a maximum temperature of 38 degrees. It isn’t even summer yet! Back to normal temperatures now.
Did your rain stop then? It arrived here yesterday afternoon and I got soaked twice!
Rained all day once it started and through the night and this morning, sorry to say that the conservatory/orangery is wet. So much for all that money spent on it 😦 I might have been better pulling it down and building a greenhouse!
Oh no I’m sorry, was it poor workmanship?
I think it is just the position – hopefully the builder will have some ideas!
Wow, you do have some amazing skies.
Face pretty much east-west and open countryside so we do have good views of the sky.
Fantastic colour!
