Beautiful vast expanse of the beach! Love the β€œant” people too.

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks – I have more to come πŸ™‚

  2. Tish Farrell says:

    Classically timeless.

  3. beetleypete says:

That has the feel of a ‘Lowry’ about it. I don’t think he did beaches though. πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Sue says:

      You have a point, Pete!

      1. Heyjude says:

I thought that too, especially the couple walking on the left of the photo – very Lowry.

        1. Sue says:

Yes, and that slightly forward stance

  4. Joanne Sisco says:

This photo really works in b&w. Love it!

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Jo. I do like beaches in colour, but sometimes the B&W works well, especially when shooting into the sun.

  5. Sue says:

A very timeless monochrome image, Jude – lovely

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Sue. Got some more nice beach shots at Porthtowan last week.

      1. Sue says:

        Ooh, goody!

  6. Stunning. Wish I was there

    1. Heyjude says:

Nothing better than this beach on a sunny day.

  7. Pit says:

    What a fantastic beach!

    1. Heyjude says:

When the tide is low it is really lovely. Very sandy too.

  8. restlessjo says:

She did! Have you heard from her lately? πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

    1. Heyjude says:

Received an email on my birthday. I really miss her on the blogs though.

      1. restlessjo says:

Yes. always such astute comments. I’m not so keen on the private blog without the interaction, but I was delighted to receive a lengthy email this morning. It’s almost like receiving a hug. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  9. You’ve even got a pattern going there Jude, with couples and singles alternating. Then there is the group of three in the corner. I love this image!

    1. Heyjude says:

I found myself really studying this photo. As you say there is a string of couples along the shore, the ‘Lowry’ couple walking off to the left, the threesome in the corner. A photographer (or two). A family building sandcastles. The lifeguards in the background. So many different things going on. I’m glad you like it too.

      1. My eye was led through the photo, looking at each group of people. I love it.

  10. Lucid Gypsy says:

    Yes it’s really cool!
