And a blue sky, how lovely.
    See you tomorrow, Jude. πŸ™‚
Greetings from the four of us in Penzance. xx

    1. Heyjude says:

Hopefully a blue sky tomorrow too Dina. Can’t wait to find out how you are finding a very wet and windy Cornwall πŸ˜€

      1. Dina says:

Norfolk is just as windy πŸ€—πŸ’¨

If only the beaches were that deserted in the high season…
Have a great time with KB and Dina!
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Heyjude says:

If only! KB and Dina are not having great weather this week. Though it is fine at the moment, but still very windy!

      1. beetleypete says:

They are used to Scandinavia, so I am sure they will be fine. πŸ™‚

        1. Heyjude says:

True! And Dina probably has a waterproof camera so we should see some great wave shots!

  3. BeckyB says:

Beautiful, so very beautiful. I wish my beach photos had come out well this week – in fact I wish any of my landscape photos had worked this week. Have have a dreadful few days with the camera, but you have inspired me to try again tomorrow.

    1. Heyjude says:

Oh, no. I have that issue sometimes when I have the wrong lens on and all my photos are blurred.

      1. BeckyB says:

Glad it is not just me who has bad camera days . . . just so disappointing when it happens.

        1. Heyjude says:

Quite. Even more so when you know you won’t be back in that place again.

        2. BeckyB says:

Oh that’s even worse, at least I know I will be returning to this week’s problem places 😊

        3. Heyjude says:

          Second chance then πŸ™‚

  4. pommepal says:

Your beach is so lovely but so deserted Jude I went down to our beach at 5pm this evening and it was still busy, even though the holiday period is over. Took some lovely sunset photos over our lake at the end of the street too.

    1. Heyjude says:

October seems to be the best month to find quiet beaches.

  5. Peter Klopp says:

Great capture of the beach! Oh, how I love the ocean!

    1. Heyjude says:

Me too as long as I am looking at it and not sailing on it!

  6. Sue says:

That could be a scene from my childhood….

Looks lovely, Jude. Enjoy your time with Dina and Klaus. I don’t think the weather will be a major issue for them. I spotted my first snowdrops here today so Spring must be on the way. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

No. I am sure they are far hardier than I am! I haven’t seen snowdrops yet, but planning an escape to a winter garden on the next sunny day we get. I think my crocuses are on their way up.

      1. restlessjo says:

Next door nearly have daffodils! Must be Welsh πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

        1. Heyjude says:

Must be very early flowering ones! Mine only have their tips above ground!

        2. restlessjo says:

He wins every year. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Got to get our poinsettia and indoor cyclamens farmed out before we go.

        3. Heyjude says:

Ooh, I’ll take the cyclamen, but I don’t like potted poinsettia. Safe travels πŸ™‚

        4. restlessjo says:

If you were nearer I wouldn’t hesitate (and you’d have to have the poinsettia because it’s been an absolute beauty this year- I don’t suppose it has more than a few weeks because it’s starting to drop leaves but I’d hate just to abandon it πŸ™‚ ) Thanks, darlin! Hope today goes well. They’re bound to be lovely people.

        5. Heyjude says:

Feeling a bit nervous, but I know they are lovely people. I’m just chronically shy.

  8. I love beaches. Thanks for sharing your great photo. πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

Thank you for liking it πŸ™‚

  9. Lucid Gypsy says:

If only it was like that in summer!

    1. Heyjude says:

      That would be nice.
