And a blue sky, how lovely.
See you tomorrow, Jude. π
Greetings from the four of us in Penzance. xx
Hopefully a blue sky tomorrow too Dina. Can’t wait to find out how you are finding a very wet and windy Cornwall π
Norfolk is just as windy π€π¨
If only the beaches were that deserted in the high season…
Have a great time with KB and Dina!
Best wishes, Pete. x
If only! KB and Dina are not having great weather this week. Though it is fine at the moment, but still very windy!
They are used to Scandinavia, so I am sure they will be fine. π
True! And Dina probably has a waterproof camera so we should see some great wave shots!
Beautiful, so very beautiful. I wish my beach photos had come out well this week – in fact I wish any of my landscape photos had worked this week. Have have a dreadful few days with the camera, but you have inspired me to try again tomorrow.
Oh, no. I have that issue sometimes when I have the wrong lens on and all my photos are blurred.
Glad it is not just me who has bad camera days . . . just so disappointing when it happens.
Quite. Even more so when you know you won’t be back in that place again.
Oh that’s even worse, at least I know I will be returning to this week’s problem places π
Second chance then π
Your beach is so lovely but so deserted Jude I went down to our beach at 5pm this evening and it was still busy, even though the holiday period is over. Took some lovely sunset photos over our lake at the end of the street too.
October seems to be the best month to find quiet beaches.
Great capture of the beach! Oh, how I love the ocean!
Me too as long as I am looking at it and not sailing on it!
That could be a scene from my childhood….
Pleasant…
Yes!
Looks lovely, Jude. Enjoy your time with Dina and Klaus. I don’t think the weather will be a major issue for them. I spotted my first snowdrops here today so Spring must be on the way. π π
No. I am sure they are far hardier than I am! I haven’t seen snowdrops yet, but planning an escape to a winter garden on the next sunny day we get. I think my crocuses are on their way up.
Next door nearly have daffodils! Must be Welsh π π
Must be very early flowering ones! Mine only have their tips above ground!
He wins every year. π π Got to get our poinsettia and indoor cyclamens farmed out before we go.
Ooh, I’ll take the cyclamen, but I don’t like potted poinsettia. Safe travels π
If you were nearer I wouldn’t hesitate (and you’d have to have the poinsettia because it’s been an absolute beauty this year- I don’t suppose it has more than a few weeks because it’s starting to drop leaves but I’d hate just to abandon it π ) Thanks, darlin! Hope today goes well. They’re bound to be lovely people.
Feeling a bit nervous, but I know they are lovely people. I’m just chronically shy.
Gerraway! XX
I love beaches. Thanks for sharing your great photo. π
Thank you for liking it π
If only it was like that in summer!
That would be nice.
