January Sky

Despite all the rain and wind (and we have had a lot of both) this month, there have been one or two rather lovely sunset skies. This one was taken on 7th January at 16:30 whilst returning home from a very short stroll down the lane.

  We have not had many like this during this month, but each time I see the sky lit up like this it is spellbinding.

  I heard the birds as I was taking the sunset shot. I was lucky they came into view with the colour behind them.

      We’re in the slither, more than snow. Not sure that I want to attempt slip sliding to zumba this morning. Novak and Sharapova might do instead. Followed by Roger 🙂 🙂 I have an ark for you over at mine today. 🙂

      Slithering is not good. Tennis is much more appealing, especially as you don’t have to get heatstroke! Thought we might have some sun today but so far it is back to being wild.

It is amazing how the many birds stand out as perfect silhouettes against the evening sky. Great capture!
