Haha… you could be right, there was sun earlier today, but not as easy for me to see it rise. Having problems sleeping at the moment – it may be the neighbour’s Christmas lights bothering me, I’m terribly sensitive to light at night.
Not an engine house Sue, but a folly. I believe (from looking at the map) that this is known as Roger’s Tower and is situated on Castle an Dinas above the quarry there. I don’t know if it is accessible, but I shall find out
I’m hoping it’s just tomorrow. Grazyna wanted us to travel down Saturday but Mick prefers to keep the visit short, and it will give the weather a bit more time to pass over. π π
Going Sunday, coming back Tuesday. There’ll probably be an all night party Sunday so Monday may be a late start and there are fireworks in Cromer, presumably around teatime, on New Year’s Day. Grazyna suggested Saturday so we would be rested and also could go and see seal pups on the beach Sunday morning. She’s a sweetheart π π
Oh, you must go on Saturday so you can see the seal pups. Time to twist Mick’s arm… we were considering the north Norfolk area to retire to, we like it very much.
I have just been reeling from the splendour of Jo’s final #SquareSky collection and then I open yours. Stupendous – if only it was a real sky and not painted π
That’s a corker, Jude. One of the best of this series, undoubtedly.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Reminded me of a Turner painting…
Beginning of the month, this one Pete. We haven’t had anything like this since last Tuesday, seems to be dull and dreary every afternoon.
You’ll have to get up earlier! None of this tea in bed malarkey π π

Even with curtains? I’m an odd creature- I hate having them drawn. Soon be taken down now π
I have blinds, but I like them open to see the stars. I’m not keen on being enclosed.
π
Stunning colors.
What a sight! And where’s the engine house on that hill?

Oh, OK!
Not far from me so I shall try and get there.
That is so beautiful a vision, Jude!
Sadly missing this week Pete.
I do like a bit of vivid! π π
We seem to either get vivid or nothing worth mentioning! Seems you have snow on the way – stay warm!!

So you are going down Sunday and returning Monday? A long drive in a short time. I hope the weather stays fine for you.

I daren’t twist it any more or I’ll have a revolt on my hands. π π Maybe we can fit it in somewhere.
π
Lovely image. It makes me long for the sunsets over the Pacific I grew up,with.
Living in the west has its advantages
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha… gotta love the Sky Painter π
Goodness I should say!
