A long but tiring day that went off very well thanks, Jude. Today we have heavy rain, sleet, wet snow, gale force winds…Not looking forward to Ollie’s dog-walk. ๐ฆ
I thought you’d been judiciously cropping. ๐ ๐ Weather still not good? Most of our rain was overnight but I’ve not been out. Waiting for James and Lauren to recover from last night, so it’s been me and the Christmas tree most of the day.
It’s winter so to be expected and in fact I don’t think it has been too bad this year so far. Fortunately we don’t have to go out so can stay at home and keep warm.
Good to hear. My mum is in Northampton and has been telling me how bad it is for her. But age is definitely not on her side when it comes to snow and miserable weather ๐ฆ
Fabulous! We’re in Penzance for 6 days in January and Godrevy Lighthouse is on our list. ๐ If you have time, maybe you would like to pop in for tea at our cottage in P.? Siri and Selma and of course Klausbernd and myself would love to meet you. x
Another great square image, Jude. Worked really well.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Wish it looked like this outside my window today Pete. Hope yesterday went well for you ๐

No, that wind is fierce here too. ๐ฆ
Brilliant square Jude – love how they have lined up with the chimney.
Fluke shot Becky, we were just walking back home past Alice when the seagulls took off.
even more amazing then for a fluke shot – love the composition.
Who needs the Red Arrows!
Indeed!

A very blowy day (and cold too) but seen a blue sky and something yellow ๐ What were James and Lauren up to then? Too much Christmas pudding?
They were out with a gang of his mates last night and it appears he’s forgotten how to drink. ๐ ๐ Lauren was ok.
Ahah… say no more ๐
Fluke or not, great composition. Hope your weather improves soon. ๐

rugged up with a cuppa and a good book in front of the fire?
Not lit the fire, the underfloor heating we have is more than adequate at the moment ๐
And not as messy…

They have had worse weather in the rest of the country. Difficult if you do have to go out as pavements are never de-iced.
That’s what she said. I’m hoping my brother and nephew will make sure she’s ok. They’re generally really good. ๐
It looks great, Jude. Is Alice far from Godrevy Lighthouse, I wonder?
Alice is just down the road from me, the lighthouse about 4 miles away as the crow (or seagull) flies ๐

If you email me the dates and the address via my contact page then I shall see what I can do. Gosh that is exciting… ๐
Shot from the hip??? Great capture.
I love watching the crows get together every evening. I always wonder what birds talk about at the end of the day!
Is Alice โhomeโ? It looks as if theyโre heading straight for her. Iโll be sorry when the world of oblongs returns.
I think they were heading back to the coast, they seem to spend all day in the fields when it is windy.
