You are indeed becoming the ‘Cloud Queen of Cornwall’, Jude.
The silhouetted foregrounds always work so well.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

This happened as I looked back after descending the hill. It always pays to look behind occasionally.

A nice bit of drama! 🙂 🙂 Becoming obsessed with skies. That Becky! Grrr 🙂 Some great charcoal grey ones here yesterday but it was crisp and bright and even this morning.

I have so many cloud and sky images. Just wasn’t aware. Have just been outside to snap another couple as the sun goes down and the starlings head for their roost.

    2. BeckyB says:

      hee hee 🙂

Lovely clouds, Jude. I like clouds and I enjoy watching them and capturing them. They make all the difference.
    Have a wonderful weekend,

Some people are like clouds, when they go away it’s a beautiful day. – Selma

    1. Heyjude says:

You have beautiful BIG skies to watch in Norfolk, and Selma’s comment made me smile. I wonder who has annoyed her 😉

  4. Peter Klopp says:

I like the way you captured the beauty of the clouds. Great picture! I have been following your amazing post for quite some time now, but never received any notifications. But now the problem has been taken care of by WordPress.

    1. Heyjude says:

Ah, thank you Peter for your lovely comment and glad that WP has come to your rescue 🙂

  5. Beautiful shot. It does pay to look behind. 🙂

  6. mickscogs says:

We have closed fb group ‘cloud appreciation society’ consequently I’ve been a bit obsessed with clouds lately. Nice pics Jude.

    1. Heyjude says:

I have realised that perhaps I have been somewhat obsessed with them myself! But the sky is always changing and here we get an awful lot of cloud!

  7. Lucid Gypsy says:

This is a rather moody one!

    1. Heyjude says:

Must have been up the hill earlier than usual to catch the sun in that position. I usually head up around early evening. Not at the moment though.

  8. pommepal says:

It’s sneaking up on you Jude…

    1. Heyjude says:

Haha… time for me to sneak up on it, haven’t been up for a few weeks and today is a rather glorious day. It will be a bit wet and muddy though.

  9. BeckyB says:

Feels like the hill is following you!!

  10. Hannah Keene says:

I haven’t thought of the category of stratocumulus in decades. I used to call all the cloud formations by their proper names. Thank you for reminding me Jude!

    1. Heyjude says:

You are most welcome Hannah, it is a shame we just refer to clouds as clouds, there’s a lot more to them than simply white stuff!

      1. Hannah Keene says:

        Yes indeed. 😀
