You must have twisted something when you were out with Alex? Or is it that stabbing sensation in the bottom of the foot- plantain’s something or other syndrome? Trying to cheer you up 🙂 🙂
Hm. That’s a very big nuisance as well as a pain. Cold-pressed organic castor oil compresses using cotton pads put on overnight. A bit messy so you’d have to put your foot in bag in bed!!! But I’ve read it’s very healing for all kinds of injuries with tendons and muscles. Comfrey oil is another old healing substance and usually available in the chemist’s.
I love the colors of Cornwall, Jude, even the browns. I love your little tiled mosaic picture. What’s this about your foot? I hope it feels better soon!
I understand that! I would never have discovered the arthritis in my knee if not for an osteopath who sent me for a scan … which led to an MRI and an orthopedic surgeon. My GP (I think I still have one) was completely out of the loop. I’d suggest going to a similar alternative practitioner, but the NHS operates so differently to our system that may not make much sense for you.
That’s what I suspected 😦 We pay for primary healthcare anyway (although I think it’s subsidised), so chiropractors, osteopaths, etc don’t seem such a financial stretch. I hope you can get some help soon.
Lovely autumn colours Jude. Sorry to hear about the foot, always a nuisance when things go wrong. Tish’s advice sounds good. I’ve had an enforced absence for a week due to an internet outage, very annoying, I missed all my buddies, now have a lot of catching up to do. But today it is art day.
We are having what is called NBN (national broadband network) rollout. It is being installed all through Australia at enormous expense, and it is having lots of problems. I am on cable but will be forced onto the NBN in a few months. The outage last week was due to them installing the NBN in our area. Grrrrr unwanted change but it is government mandate they tell me when I complained…
They started the rollout about 3 years ago and started in the outback areas where they had no coverage, or very poor reception. Now they have reached the cities. A lot of people already on it are complaining about drop outs and slower speed than expected
You’re a busy bee these days, resting that foot. 🙂 🙂
I think resting might be the way to go. Constantly walking on it hasn’t helped.

Happened before then. I was already hobbling when I went to Donny.
😦
Plantar fasciitis…and that’s not a cheerful thought, Jo
Thanks Sue! Got the lowdown from Jude. It’s not! X
Indeed
A very pleasing gallery, Jude. And what have you done to your foot?
No idea Tish. Just very painful to walk on after about half an hour. Perhaps a twisted ankle that hasn’t healed properly.

This is such an inspired series. Lovely browns too.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thanks Pete. Very grey today 😦
Brilliant sunshine here, but very cold! Brrr…
Ooooh, lovely browns!
Isn’t it wonderful that nature is beautiful in all her various colors?
It is. We just have to take the time to see them 🙂

Lovely! I like the montage layout. Hope your foot feels better soon.
Thanks Su. I guess I am going to need the advice of an expert re the foot [sigh…]
Best to get it seen to sooner rather than later (the voice of experience) 😕
I know, I just have a ‘thing’ about doctors and try to avoid seeing one if at all possible.

I suspect a Podiatrist or Osteopath might be the way to go, neither usually come under the NHS.

A fair amount of green too. 🙂
Always a fair amount of green down here 😀

I thought you’d gone quiet again PP, but simply assumed you were busy with the art and the garden 🙂
I’ve got addicted again Jude and was quite annoyed to be denied internet for nearly a week.
We had a bad time with our connection earlier in the year and I practically gave up blogging as it was so slow and frustrating.

They keep promising us superfast broadband but it hasn’t reached many rural areas yet.

Lovely selection of shots!
Thank you Karen.
