So atmospheric. Can almost smell that sea mist. I love the way you’ve framed it too. A triptych.
Although I called it mizzle, it was in fact pouring with rain at this point. Wet and cold are not my favourite sensations.
No nor mine. I’m not too happy to be back to a blustery wind either.
Very wisely from inside!
Well, this was on the café veranda which wasn’t exactly dry either as the rain was sort of horizontal, but I managed to get this shot in, before burying the camera in my son’s rucksack for the very wet hike back to the car!
I’m so rain-deprived I’m dreaming of it! We had 7 drops yesterday.
We are expecting some on Saturday, I will blow it your way…
I think of Beetley in colour as grey too. However, the sun is shining this morning.
Nice atmosphere in the shot, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
I don’t usually venture out in this sort of weather, but we got caught!
What a view!
Much, much nicer in the sun!
Better indoors when it’s like that! But a most atmospheric image, all the same 😊
A brief shelter from the rain, but we still had to climb back up the cliff to the car park so got totally soaked.
Oh no!
Oh, yes 😦
😧😧
I love your frame within a frame, Jude. Well done.
I have always loved that beach weather. I loved sitting in my mother’s seaside cottage, reading a book, hearing the ocean.
Now if I could do that I would be very happy, instead I was very wet 🙂
LOL!
Winter is coming!!!! But I love this atmospheric shot, definitely better taken and framed from inside. With a hot cup of coffee?
We did manage a hot cup of coffee before having to make our way back up the cliff which was now a series of waterfalls! There was no sign of the rain easing off so it was a case of, “oh well, it’s only water!”
Ok if it is not too cold…
That weather would not make me happy!
We had to laugh at how wet we were. I must try and take him back in the sunshine as it is the most beautiful cove.
