Someone once commented on this blog that it always looks so lovely and sunny in Cornwall. It’s not. I just don’t have a weatherproof camera. This week we have had a lot of heavy showers and happened to get caught in one down on the beach at Kynance Cove.

Still beautiful though.
Always sunny in Cornwall π Like it’s always summer in Somerset π
I do love that picture, though. It reminds me of ‘home’ – ‘home’ being the UK.
Once, a long time ago, I liked walking in the rain. Less keen these days because, somehow, it all feels wetter and colder on a mobility scooter. That said, I got caught in a rain shower up on the NE coast not long before we left and didn’t mind a bit. It was nice just to have the beach to ourselves and to see the changes in the colour of the sea and sand as the clouds came and went.
Lovely shot, Jude. We experienced that mizzle whilst in Cornwall. My daughter commented the other day that as no one knows her on holiday there, it doesn’t matter if she looks like a drowned rat. π
All too true Sylvia π
*Mizzle* – what a great word! Those two on the beach look like they’re treading through a lot more than ‘mizzle’ π
Yeh, I was being a bit optimistic really: by the time I took this photo it was really chucking it down! We’ll try again when the tide AND sun are out π
Now you’re just toying with nature, aren’t you? π
I figure that I have to accept that some times I might have to get wet!
The only rain I like is the kind I see through a window when I’ve no need to go out, or the kind that happens in the night!
Night rain is the best, although with Velux windows it can also be extremely noisy!
