Knavocks to you too! This is absolutely gorrgeous 🙂 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

      Another walk you would enjoy.

    2. Dina says:

Agree, Jo❣️I have to look up “Knavocks”, but it sounds great and coming from you it can’t be wrong. 😍 Lots of knavocks to you for this shot, Jude. 👍🏻

      1. Dina says:

I have looked it up, so I know it didn’t make any sense, but I’m now familiar with one of the most popular, most scenic, mot beautiful walks in the UK. 🙂

        1. Heyjude says:

The walk will follow next week Dina – and yes, it is stunning.

      2. Heyjude says:

Simply the name for the heathland on this headland, must admit it’s an unusual name!

      3. restlessjo says:

Tee! Hee! I wonder if it’s in the dictionary? 🙂

  2. Did you take it yourself? Fabulous! Glad to find your page 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

      Yes. And thank you.

  3. beetleypete says:

I don’t know what (or if) you used on this shot, but it looks fascinatingly retro, like the old ‘slide’ postcards from the late 1950s. Great shot!
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Heyjude says:

A bit of tonal contrast that’s all Pete. It was a cloudy / sunny day so maybe the light helped.

  4. Sue says:

What’s a knavock, Jude? Looks great, whatever!

    1. Heyjude says:

The area of heathland known as the Knavocks , lies on Cornwall’s Atlantic coast, and is situated half a mile from the village of Gwithian

Just one of those Cornish words I guess 🙂

  5. Anabel Marsh says:

    Gorgeous colours.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes. I shall have to go there earlier next year to capture the heather in full bloom.

    1. Heyjude says:

      It is a bit 🙂

  6. Elizabeth says:

Where were you standing to take this?

    1. Heyjude says:

Hell’s Mouth (thereabouts) on the top of the cliff.
