You’ve been scrubbing hard! 🙂 🙂 Happy Sunday, Jude!

    1. Heyjude says:

Not hard enough it seems, the grey is back! Now that has given me an idea…

I can see the light bulb igniting from here 🙂 🙂

Can’t beat that combination on a fine day. Besides, the North Sea’s mud brown never seems to change!
    Best wishes, Pete. x

When the sun shines, it is perfect down here.

Love this colour palette, Jude! Most uplifting….have a lovely Sunday

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Sue. A bit grey and damp today!! Perhaps I need to buy a waterproof camera!

      1. Sue says:

        Oh dear!

  4. Tish Farrell says:

Breathtaking view, Jude. Wet here too. Have very damp knees from the allotment.

    1. Heyjude says:

Have you been celebrating National Allotments Week Tish?

      1. Tish Farrell says:

I’ve been doing a lot of earth shifting – does that count?

        1. Heyjude says:

I’m sure it must do! Tell me, what do I do with rhubarb at this time of year? Is it still good to harvest or should I just leave it to die back naturally.

        2. Tish Farrell says:

People at the allotment just let it die back. I imagine it needs to do this to feed the crown tho it can be a bit unsightly. If the stalks are still juicy, then you can eat them. It’s only the leaves that develop higher quantities of oxalic acid in the late summer.

        3. Heyjude says:

Thank you. I think I let it die back last year as I was away in September, then cleared away the dead leaves on my return. I shall go and see if there are any stalks to pick now 🙂

Beautiful; and an image to hold on to when it’s a bit grey and miserable.

    1. Heyjude says:

      Like today you mean? 😀

      1. Su Leslie says:

🙂 oh now. Hopefully not the end of golden weather?

        1. Heyjude says:

I am hopeful for September. Often the golden month and most of the crowds will have gone then too.

        2. Su Leslie says:

I’ll hope for you too! I love September here, though it does remind me that summer’s humidity is getting close.

        3. Heyjude says:

We never seem to get the weather we want do we!

        4. Su Leslie says:

True. And given that these sorts of variations in weather aren’t actually crucial to my survival (as they are for subsistence farmers for example), I do sometimes feel just a wee bit whiney.

        5. Heyjude says:

At least moaning about the weather doesn’t cause offence!

        6. Su Leslie says:

          That is so true! 🙂

  6. How absolutely perfect, Jude. 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

Pretty colours Sylvia. Every time I see this water I feel very lucky.

      1. Better lucky than yucky.

  7. Elizabeth says:

If I don’t see some pictures of grey and fog, I will be convinced that the sun is always shining in Cornwall!

    1. Heyjude says:

I will do my best, but my camera is not waterproof!

  8. It’s a grey day here, but the clouds are beautiful, and we just saw a small bird chase a wedge tail eagle the length of the beach and then some. Always beauty, as I’m sure you know. But thisbeauty you’ve captured is indubitable and immediate.

    1. Heyjude says:

Grey here today, but warm and muggy. The boy is tired today so no long walks.

      1. He’s with you? I didn’t realise that.

        1. Heyjude says:

Yeh, back home with Mom to recuperate. He really didn’t have any strength at all when he left hospital and wasn’t eating.

  9. When I think of Britain, I don’t think of anything so bright and colorful. You must have been thrilled.

    1. Heyjude says:

One reason why I moved down here Steve. I don’t think you get this aqua colour anywhere else in the British Isles except on the west coast of Scotland. And it is a little chilly up there.

      1. Do the agencies that are charged with promoting Cornwall play up that aqua color in their advertising?

        1. Heyjude says:

          Good point. I expect so.
