They look so interesting and have beautiful patterns, but I don’t like to swim in the near of them. If you see one, there’re normally lots more nearby …
Beautiful composition, Jude. Have been thinking about you a lot lately.
Greetings from tthe Rhine Valley. x
What a stunner (and a stinger!): the pattern on the creature beneath the pattern of ripples is wonderful. And a bonus that you were walking with your boy after the last horrible few weeks.
It was an amazing sight. A new beach for me even though it is much closer to where I normally go. The water was exquisite – clear and warm, though we could only paddle as it is a kite-surfing designated area. And yes, lovely to have him with me.
Nice jelly, Jude!
Best wishes, Pete. x
Just glad my son noticed it before I stood on it – apparently this one stings!

Thanks Dina. I was lucky not to stand on this one, it was right next to me. All is going well and it is nice to be back home.
What a wonderful design, and the colours are great – nature is fantastic! And well captured by you
Thanks Sue 🙂
It’s a beauty but they give me the shudders. 🙂 🙂
Ages since I last saw one like this. A few blobs on the beach in St Ives a while ago.
Wow, this doesn’t look real! As said above, nature is wonderful (helped by your photography).

Lovely photo; and amazing-looking jelly. I’ve never seen one quite like that before.
Me neither!
Wow – I’ve never wanted to get close enough to one to notice how beautiful they are!
I got quite a shock when I looked down and it was right next to me!
It’s a beauty but glad to hear you didn’t step on it. Also glad to hear you are back home. Must feel good. Hoping your son continues to improve. Xo
How beautiful! What perfection that is. Isn’t nature amazing?
It is indeed.
