Nice horizontals – even before you get to the horizon!
Sigh… a lovely evening in St Ives, only two days before the emergency happened.
It’s strange to think of living in a world before the emergency, not knowing it was about to pounce. It sounds as if things are going well – and you’re going home. Good.
Indeed. A good thing we don’t know what’s coming.
Hi Jude! It’s that person who makes you smile, again 🙂 🙂 Soon be back there, darlin’. Hope the packing/organising/travel goes well. You’ve got me singing that Bette Midler song now. 🙂
Exhausted today! I have some kind of allergic reaction on my left hand. All swollen and several burns/blisters which are very painful. Think it might have been done by brushing against leylandii trees as I get in to the car. Quite an extreme reaction though! And all I need…
Flippin heck! Need antihistamines? You still driving back tomorrow? Might be better to give it another day xx
Shall stay off the antihistamines tomorrow, really knocked me out today! Hand is painful but I’m sure I’ll manage. I have never had such a painful reaction though. The blisters look as though I have been splashed with hot oil!
Weird! You take it carefully xx
Beautiful rich colours, Jude! You must be looking forward to returning home….
This was taken just two days before the emergency. Driving home tomorrow…
I wish you a good journey…
Me too!! Hopefully not too much in the way of holiday traffic. And thunderstorms…
On a Thursday, hopefully not too much holiday traffic,…
It was a good drive – no hiccups and we did it in 6 hours including a rest stop.
Excellent, well done!
It’s all there in that shot, Jude. Nicely done.
Best wishes, Pete. x
be good to see it again Pete 🙂
Thank you! I shall drive steadily – no emergency stops!!
Beautiful shot, but sorry to hear about your hand. Hope it’s better very soon. Wishing you a safe journey home. 🙂
Thanks Su. The hand issue is annoying not to mention painful, but hopefully will improve soon. And it will be so nice to get back home!
🙂 Hope your son is continuing to recover well too.
He is getting his appetite back so that is good.
That is good. Best wishes to you both.
