This iconic view is to die for, Jude!! (well, almost) 😉
I just noticed we all turned green with envy, Siri and Selma love the colour match of their summer dresses. 🍀💚💚💚💚🍀
It looks like the photo is taken from an elevated point, is your hous on a little hilltop?
Have a great weekend, wishing you the best of all summers in Cornwall – now that we have celebrated summer solstice in Norway 🇳🇴

I remember celebrating midsummer in Norway – beacons lit on the top of the mountains – and a time when sleep was virtually impossible because it never really gets dark! The photos were taken from the upstairs window, but yes, we are practically on the top of a hill 🙂
Pokes tongue out! And you really can’t blame me. 🙂 I bit off more than I could manage on the Moors this afternoon. A bit of ungainly scrambling going on. 😦 Enjoy tomorrow! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the weather.
Makes a change from looking at other people’s houses, but then we can’t just walk to a bus stop, so there are pros and cons. For the moment though I am happy enough to put up with the cons 😀
Luckily we are not too close to other people’s houses either. And for the views: ours are not that far-reaching, but we (nearly) always have deer in our garden. So that’s great, too. And as for the bus: there’s no bus service at all in Fredericksburg. So, there are always pros and cons, as you said, and it’s a matter of what one prefers. We’re very happy here, too.
OK. I am officially envious of your view!
Best wishes, Pete. x
Put me on the list, Pete. 💚
I’ll allow you to share this 🙂
🙂
Me too!!
Nice dog walks too…

Oh, behave! It just gets cooler and ‘fresher’ up here. 🙂 🙂
Oh, Jo, don’t be a misery guts!!
If you had seen me floundering in mud and scrambling over rocks this afternoon, Sue, you would have had a good chortle. 🙂 Misery guts, indeed!
Oh, goodness, Jo…no injuries, I hope….and no, I wouldn’t have chortled. I do draw the line somewhere !
A near miss, Sue. Still smiling 🙂 🙂
Whew!
Says she who nips off to the Algarve at any excuse 😉

Weather very changeable here today – hope tomorrow is sunnier!
Wow, what an outlook. It’s so green and gorgeous.
there is a reason it is so green… 😀 😀
Fabulous, enviable view, the more so for including a ruin!
I love Wheal Alice best of all–I think I walked up that hill in the background!
Trink Hill? Or perhaps you climbed up Trencrom hill which is the one with the NT car park leading to the top of it.
I think you’re right–Trencrom Hill. What a beautiful place you call home!
Oh what absolutely gorgeous photographs! What a stunning view!
Peta
Thank you, a little cloudier today 🙂
I know many people have said it here before, but I’d still like to chip in: I absolutely envy you these views!

It is rather beautiful when you can see it 😉
