Glorious!
It was. And still is though more high-level cloud today.
It’s a scorcher here, and very blue skies! But I’ve been indoors where it’s cooler…at the Hokusai exhibition
I’m not too keen on being out in the heat, but the lawn needed mowing and for once there was no wind here today! Having a lovely cold G&T now 🙂
Cold G&T sounds just the ticket!
It does look heavenly.
You get this weather all the time. We have to enjoy those few summer days we get and yesterday was one of them 🙂
This is true. Even our winter days are just like this at the moment. I wonder what your temperature was. Here today it’s been 19C.
A little above that, but today it is about the same. Should have a hot weekend if the forecasters are right 😀
Sounds perfect. I hope you enjoy it.
Can’t argue with that title, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
You have to make the most of it!
What an apt title! The day sim;y looks gorgeous.
Apart from all the people it was a lovely day and we even managed to get a seat in the Sail Loft restaurant for lunch. Now that was lucky 🙂
Sail Loft Restaurant: in Dartmouth? OMG, How long that I have been in Devon [it was in 2000].
No, this one is on St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. Very nice too.
Thanks for the corrections. 🙂
I suspect there will be a few with this name 🙂
Very likely.
As blue as blue can be, perfect!
Exactly!
I might just have to come sooner than next year. Of course there is the small matter of money, or lack thereof!
And to be fair, it doesn’t always look like this 🙂
Look at all that glorious sunshine! Hope it matches how you are feeling Jude.
Feeling positive Sue, even if the body is still suffering from aches and pains.
Sounds like a great attitude Jude. Take care.
OH’s luncheon day? 🙂 🙂 Even up here there’ve been a few rays of warmth…
Indeed. A barefoot walk across to St Michael’s Mount, lunch in the Sail Loft (turbot, local asparagus and seaweed butter for him, crab rarebit for me) then a wander in the gardens. Home to a G&T outside on the patio. I do spoil him occasionally 😉
Charnming! What a lovely space!

Always makes me relax to see this view.
