Good to see you back in the blogosphere, with an evocative title and photo.
Spotted this little gate again last week when out with the granddaughters. Always makes me think of the Cape (SA) though it is actually located at Cape Cornwall 🙂
My first thought was that you had taken the picture in Simonstown – near Boulders Beach to be more specific:-)
It does remind me of the Cape for obvious reasons 🙂
Can’t see the cottage the gate leads to, so presume it’s a bit of a walk from there?
Works well in B&W though.
Best wishes, Pete. x
The actual cottage is behind me! The gate leads to a little lawned area overlooking the sea and in the distance Land’s End. What a view!
So wistful, somehow. 🙂 🙂
probably caught my nostalgia for Cape Town…
I presume we are talking Lands End?
We are!
Yay!
I’d like to see the cottage this gate belongs to. The occupants must have a glorious view.
Mmmm… now do I have a photo of the cottage? I shall check and get back to you!
Beautiful
On my way. LOL
I’d like the view from their lawn!
But perhaps not all the fog they must get.
