    wonderful photo . . .

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Becky. I do like photographing rope in a harbour.

      1. BeckyB says:

Never think to do it…..inspired now to try 😊

  2. beetleypete says:

Something about old rope, and the seaside. Fishing boats, harbours, and the colours. Nice shot, Jude.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Heyjude says:

And time I went to visit a harbour, the year is speeding away again and I haven’t really been anywhere yet!

      1. beetleypete says:

I think this is the ‘fastest’ year I can ever recall! x

        1. Heyjude says:

          Not just me then!

  3. restlessjo says:

Me too! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Wishing you a happy Saturday and all problems resolved.

    1. Heyjude says:

Will take laptop to PC World on Tuesday and see what they say. Bit nervous of the smaller companies. A shame I am not nearer to my daughter as he partner could easily take a look at it – he works in IT support!
Bit rainy here, so I think I shall read a book today.

      1. restlessjo says:

I had planned to be fairly lazy but the son and girlfriend are descending so there’s a flurry of shopping and bedmaking to do. 😦

  4. Oh, I love that! I want to see those colours! Fix it for me, will ya?

    1. Heyjude says:

Hi MOSY where you been hiding this year? Hope all is well with you and the family and you are enjoying a peaceful and restful Easter holiday.

      1. Hi Jude! Yeah, I know. Time management…. Been working heaps, training for a marathon, kids going every which way… Sometimes I can’t find the energy to even read.

        1. Heyjude says:

I know what that’s like (well maybe not the marathon bit, the only marathons I have come across are those you can eat… πŸ˜‰ ) Hope you get a chance to put your feet up this weekend!

        2. I’m also trying to put in a shed. It’s taking up my focus to the point that I had to warn the boys that the Easter Bunny was taking the discount route and would supply chocolate goodies some time tomorrow evening or Monday. Life is a little bit mad…

        3. Heyjude says:

I am quite sure your boys are too old for the Easter Bunny and more than old enough to help you with the shed! Get them off those phones/laptops/X-Box and out there! Well maybe not right now, it is probably bed-time over there!

  5. Sue says:

Oh, well observed, Jude! Have a lovely Easter

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Sue. When you are retired like me, every weekend is a holiday weekend! Bit rainy today, but then I avoid going anywhere during the school holidays as you can’t park!

      1. Sue says:

Well, I agree with all your sentiments!

  6. Joanne Sisco says:

That is very pretty rope. I can’t say I’ve ever seen rope that wasn’t … well, rather boring.

    1. Heyjude says:

Next time you are down at the marina take another look. Or maybe these colours are only found on fishing boats.

  7. There’s something very poetic about a listing of colours, and about the way each one echoes an aspect of your Cornwall. A delicious post, and beautifully positioned coil.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes, I am very grateful for the way these inanimate objects just pose nicely for me.

      1. You had me seeing rope this morning when it was in fact some kind of underwater desiccation.

        1. Heyjude says:

          and equally interesting I suspect.
