One of the problems with the North Sea coast here is that the water is always brown. I have never seen it blue. Suitably envious today…
Best wishes, Pete. x
Oops! My bad! I have corrected the spelling mistake now. It is simply the name of the parish. Dennis (DInas = castle) Head is the furthermost point, I don’t know what the building is. I guess I shall have to explore!
The celtic name is ‘Lanyntenyn’ suggesting the dedication to St Anthony. Meneage means “Monkish Land”, given to the land north east of the Lizard peninsula, including the parishes of St Anthony, Manaccan, St Keverne, St Martin and part of Mawgan.

It’s to do with what’s beneath it I think, which is why St Ives Bay has that Caribbean look – the sand reflects the sunlight.
So gorgeous, Jude. 🙂
It was a lovely day despite starting off a bit iffy.
Very inviting blues 🙂
All blues and greys today Gilly! And rainbows 🙂
A menage a trois? 🙂 🙂 To what does the name refer, please?
