Despite the cloudy and misty days in December there have been some wonderful sunsets as the clouds part at the end of the day.
The sun sets well over to the south now. The colours change dramatically as the fast-moving, shape-changing, clouds sweep across the sky.
And from the west a huge bank of cumulus clouds catch the last red rays.
Merry Christmas everyone!!
What a spectacle.lthough it reminds me that it’s bushfire hot at home.
It does appear to be hot down under, I think Perth was 42 degrees this week. Hope there are no fires…
I haven’t been game to look. But they didn’t feature in the Potato Point Christmas conversation.
Wow, this is so beautiful! Stunning. A very merry Christmas to you too, Jude.
Thanks Anabel. Chaos descends in about an hour…
You are lucky with those western sunsets, Jude. All we seem to get at this time of year are ‘watery glows’.
See you after Christmas.
Best wishes to you both, Pete. x
And you Pete 🙂
Beautiful skies, Jude. Have a lovely day tomorrow.
Thanks ET – yours will be all over before we start! To be honest I shall be glad when we are back to normal. Too much hard work…
It will be very quiet here this year. One daughter is in Canada and the other is in Prague and Mr ET is working until 2pm. But this evening we are having a family dinner with my parents and sister and her two boys.
Lovely sunsets. All the best to you and yours for Christmas 🎄
Thank you. Same to you 🙂
Lovely big, dramatic sky, I’m already looking forward to sunset six hours later than now. Enjoy your first Cornish Christmas Jude and Mr Jude! I hope to see you in the spring x:-)x
A Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you, too,
Gorgeous! Merry Christmas, darlin 🙂 Health and happiness to you both in the New Year. Raising a glass to you. 🙂
