One of the last things I saw before leaving Cornwall for my road trip around Britain was a double rainbow over the hill. The hill itself was golden-lit by the setting sun. Altogether a most unusual sight.

That’s a special shot to get, Jude. Nice timing!
Regards as always, Pete. x
I would have missed it if I wasn’t giving OH a lift to a music gig!
Double luck in every aspect then.
Indeed!
A beautiful photo, Jude. Double rainbows feel like a touch of magic 🙂
More so in that if I hadn’t been giving the OH a lift I wouldn’t have seen it as it was behind our house, but from outside unmissable. I love rainbows and a double one is as you say, magic. I could see the entire rainbow too, but didn’t have the wide angle lens on my camera to capture the entire bow.
A glorious light Jude, I do love a rainbow or two!
It was a sight to behold Gilly, walked out to the car in a shower with the sun beaming down in the west and said to OH, there must be a rainbow somewhere. Turned around and voilà!
Wonderful photo – the light is lovely. I’ve seen double rainbows too, but I don’t think I have seen a complete one.
Oh wow, how gorgeous!
Hello Jude, sorry for not noticing this before. I am back to blogging and very happy to find this entry. THANK YOU.
You are welcome Paula, good to see you back 🙂
